Tape Ownership

To change the owner of an z/OS tape to a VM user ID in the TMC, use the CA VM:Tape ASSIGN command. The ASSIGN command replaces the creating step name with the CA VM:Tape virtual machine user ID and the creating job name with the user ID that owns the tape. Also, a corresponding entry is added to the CA VM:Tape Pointer file.
