Sample Program Using DIAGNOSE X’A0’ Subcode X’214’

When the Rules Facility is installed, virtual machines on z/VM can use the sample program VMXA0214 XASSEMBL. The VMXA0214 XASSEMBL file was loaded to the product userid's samples disk usually the 2C2 during installation. VMXA0214 XASSEMBL is a standalone program that uses DIAGNOSE X’A0’ subcode X’214’ to change the logon password for a user ID.

Before using this sample program, review the program to ensure that it provides the functionality for your system’s security requirements. Then rename it with a filetype of ASSEMBLE.
