Entering Commands through the CP SMSG Command

If you have NOPASS authorization in the VMSECURE CONFIG file, you can enter these CA VM:Secure commands through the CP SMSG command:

• ABEND
• CMS
• END
• EXPIRE
• HISTORY
• JOURNAL
• MAP
• NOLOG
• QCPCFG
• QPCB
• QRULES
• QUERY
• RESET
• TRACE

All CA VM:Secure commands you enter through the CP SMSG command must have this format, where vmsecure is the name of the service virtual machine that is running CA VM:Secure:

#cp smsg vmsecure command [parameters]
