Entering Commands from the CA VM:Secure Console

The CA VM:Secure product normally runs disconnected. However, if it is running connected, you can enter these commands from the console:

• ABEND
• CMS
• END
• GROUP
• HISTORY
• JOURNAL
• MAP
• QCPCFG
• QLOCK
• QPCB
• QRULES
• RESET
• VERSION

Important! Do not enter other CA VM:Secure commands or issue commands to other CA products from the CA VM:Secure console. CA VM:Secure operation ceases while that command executes, which could cause your entire system to hang.

All CA VM:Secure commands you enter from the server console must have this format:

command [parameters]
