Indicates whether a user ID can only be logged onto through LOGONBY. This happens if the PASSWORD command with the BYONLY option was issued against that user ID, and is effective whenever CA VM:Secure is active. If CA VM:Secure is not active, user IDs can only be logged onto with their original passwords even if they include a *NB= comment.
CA VM:Secure sets the comment value to Y in a user ID’s directory entry if BYONLY option of the PASSWORD command has been issued for the user ID.
Note: For more information about the LOGONBY procedure, see the Rules Facility Guide.
The *NB= comment is used only if the Rules Facility is installed.
