Adding a New SFS Administrator

You can designate any existing VM user ID as an SFS administrator in CA VM:Secure. To do so, add one GRANT record for each user ID that will have SFS administrator authority (authority SFSADMIN) to the CA VM:Secure AUTHORIZ CONFIG file.

Note: For more information about user authorizations and granting user authorizations, see Authorizations. For more information about the GRANT record and how to use it, see the chapter "Configuration File Reference" in the Reference Guide.

SFS administrators have specific authorities that allow them to configure CA VM:Secure for SFS and to perform SFS user administration functions.

Note: For more information about the authority and power of SFS administrators, see the chapter SFS Overview.
