INVALID REMOVAL OF GROUP RECORD; GROUP group IS CURRENTLY ACTIVE

Reason:

This message can be displayed for the following reasons:

• You updated the SECURITY CONFIG file and attempted to delete a GROUP record, but the group is currently referred to in one or more directory entries or the RULES file. You cannot delete the GROUP record until you remove all users from that group.
• If there are any rules in the VMSECURE RULES database that pertain to the group, you cannot delete the GROUP record until you delete all of the rules. To determine all of the rules that pertain to the group, issue the command VMSECURE RULEMAP GROUP groupname.

Action:

Remove the reference to group from all directory entries and then update the SECURITY CONFIG file to remove the GROUP record. Use the RULEMAP MEMBERS groupname command to determine which users are referring to the group in question.
