Use the NORULE record to determine whether to allow a CP command to execute when no applicable rule is found. This defines CA VM:Secure to be an open system or a closed system.
NORULE {ACCEPT | REJECT}
NORULE is defined in the SECURITY CONFIG file.
Accepts requests (Conditionally) if no applicable rule is found in the rules database, making CA VM:Secure an open system.
Rejects requests if no applicable rule is found in the rules database, making CA VM:Secure a closed system.
The NORULE record is valid only if you are using the CA VM:Secure Rules Facility and is required if you are using the Rules Facility. It applies only for the CP commands intercepted by the Rules Facility.
The following actions are rejected if a rule is not found:
