Use the DELAYHIS record to specify the amount of time for CA VM:Secure to wait before updating the last logon (*LL=), last (x)autolog (*LA=), and history (*HS=) special comments in directory entries.
DELAYHIS seconds
DELAYHIS is defined in the PRODUCT CONFIG file.
Specifies the number of seconds between batch updates to last logon, last (X)AUTOLOG, and history special comments. The minimum is 1, the maximum is 99999999 (approximately 1157 days). The default is 60 seconds.
The DELAYHIS record is valid only if you are using the Rules Facility.
Updates to the *LL=, *LA=, and *HS= special comments in directory entries are batched to conserve I/O processing and to cause less locking of directory entries. CA VM:Secure processes all queued requests before waiting for the next DELAYHIS interval.
If you do not use the DELAYHIS record, CA VM:Secure updates history, last logon, and last (X)AUTOLOG special comments at 60‑second intervals.
Note: For more information about special comments, see the Administration Guide.
