Sample Programs for DB2

You can use CA VM:Secure, with DB2 Version 6.1 or later, to verify that a user trying to access DB2 has entered the correct password. To perform this check, you must generate your own RPIUCMS MODULE to replace the one supplied by IBM. This module must use DIAGNOSE X’A0’ subcode X’04’ to check the Rules to validate the user ID/password pair.

The sample RPIUVMX XASSEMBL file was loaded the product userid's sample disk, usually the 2C2, during installation. The sample file contains instructions for generating the module.

Note: For information about using CA VM:Secure with DB2, contact Technical Support at http://ca.com/support.
