Description

You can use the trace table entries to help resolve problems and monitor activities in the Access Control Interface (ACI) that are related to CA VM:Secure. If any of the following conditions apply, the program creates trace entries:

• There are changes in the communication status between the CP component and the service virtual machine; for example, whenever the communication path is established (CONNECT/ACCEPT), quiesced (QUIESCE), re–established (RESUME), or terminated (SEVER)
• The service virtual machine does not respond to the CP component’s request
• The ACI receives a security–related request

If you do not include the ACITRACE record in the VMXRPI CONFIG file, the program creates CP trace table entries (ON) and the trace code is set to 63. See the IBM documentation on CP trace and diagnose codes to make sure that you do not use a trace code that IBM is currently using.
