Description

XAUTOLOG and AUTOLOG rules are treated identically. An XAUTOLOG rule will accept or reject the AUTOLOG command and an AUTOLOG rule will accept or reject the XAUTOLOG command.

Examples

• The following rules in the ALMA user rules file allow only HERB to XAUTOLOG ALMA:

  REJECT * XAUTOLOG (HISTORY
  ACCEPT HERB XAUTOLOG
  

  The HISTORY option specifies that XAUTOLOG requests other than those made by HERB are to be recorded as history information in the ALMA directory entry.

• The following rules in the BARRY user rules file allow all users to XAUTOLOG BARRY, except JIM and LUCY:

  ACCEPT * XAUTOLOG (NOPASS
  REJECT JIM XAUTOLOG
  REJECT LUCY XAUTOLOG
  

  The NOPASS option allows XAUTOLOG without password verification for all user IDs except JIM and LUCY.

• The following system rule prevents a user or security group rule from rejecting an AUTOLOG request from CA VM:Schedule:

  ACCEPT VMSCHED XAUTOLOG (NOPASS
