Description

All CA VM:Schedule QUERY requests default to normal CA VM:Schedule processing when no rules are defined to govern CA VM:Schedule QUERY attempts. The NORULE record in the SECURITY CONFIG file does not apply to CA VM:Schedule QUERY requests.

Examples

• The following rule in your user rules file allows users in any security group to query the status of CA VM:Schedule jobs owned by your user ID:

  ACCEPT * VMSCHED QUERY * (GROUP
  REJECT * VMSCHED QUERY *
  

• If you want to restrict the jobs that user SNOOPY can query, the following rules allow him to query only the job called RED:

  ACCEPT SNOOPY VMSCHED QUERY RED
  REJECT * VMSCHED QUERY *
