Description

Use this rule to control the groups or userids that can use DIAGNOSE X’88’ subcode X’08’ or the DMSPASS CSL routine to validate logon password phrases. This rule is only valid in the SYSTEM override or SYSTEM default rules files.

Examples

• The following rule in the SYSTEM override rules file allows user VMSCHED to use the diagnose via the DMSPASS CSL routine to validate user logon password phrases:

  ACCEPT VMSCHED DIAG88
  

• The following rule in the SYSTEM override rules file allows the group VALGRP to issue the diagnose X’88’ subcode X’08’ for password phrase validation.

  ACCEPT VALGRP DIAG88 ( GROUP
