Recording and Reviewing Access Attempts

To record all access attempts to your user ID or minidisk, use the HISTORY option on the rules you create for the AUTOLOG, LINK, LOGON, or LOGONBY commands. For the HISTORY option to take effect, you must have a rules history (*HS=) special comment in your directory entry. The *HS= special comment in your directory entry will capture the information when someone tries to access your user ID or minidisk. When all the *HS= special comments in your directory entry are full, the oldest record of information is discarded before a new record is added.
