SPOOL Subcommand

Use the ENTRY SPOOL command to add or remove or replace a SPOOL statement in a USER, IDENTITY, SUBCONFIG, or PROFILE directory entry.

ENTRY entryname Spool vdev {"Parms"} [( "Options"]

Parms:

  devtype [class ["Spool Parms"]]

Spool Parms:

[4WCGM | 2WCGM]

[NODATACK | DATACK]

Options:

[MSG | NOMSG]
[FILE [filename]]

[STEM stemname]

Stack Options:

  FIFO
| LIFO
| STACK [FIFO | LIFO]

Definitions

entryname

Specifies the name of the directory entry to process.

vdev

Uniquely identifies the virtual device address.

DELETE

Removes the matching statement from the entry.

?

Returns the matching statements from the entry. The values are passed to the caller in a message, on the program stack, or in a REXX stem.

The remaining operands are the same as those on a SPOOL statement. For details on the SPOOL statement, refer to the definitions in the section on that statement in the IBM CP Planning and Administration publication for your release of VM.
