LINK Subcommand

Use the ENTRY LINK command to add or remove or replace a LINK statement in a USER, IDENTITY, SUBCONFIG, or PROFILE directory entry.

ENTRY entryname Link "Parms" [( "Options"]

Parms:

  owner owner_vdev vdev [mode | DELETE | ?]

Options:

[MSG | NOMSG]
[FILE [filename]]
["Stack Options"]
[STEM stemname]

Stack Options:

  FIFO
| LIFO
| STACK [FIFO | LIFO]

Definitions

entryname

Specifies the name of the directory entry to process.

DELETE

Removes the matching statement from the entry.

?

Returns the matching statement from the entry. The values are passed to the caller in a message, on the program stack, or in a REXX stem.

[FILE [filename]]

[MSG | NOMSG]

[STACK [FIFO | LIFO]]

[FIFO]

[LIFO]

[STEM stemname]
