If one of the CA VM:Director product servers in an SSI complex experiences an outage, it is important to recover quickly. An outage can occur because of an error in the product server or in the member VM system where it is running. The best solution is to restart the failing SSI member or failing CA VM:Director product server virtual machine or both. If you are able to do that, normal operations resume with your complex fully functional. If a member or product server cannot be made operational, you have one of the following situations:
