Managing User IDs Under SFS

This chapter explains how to manage user IDs under SFS on a daily basis. These tasks are generally the responsibility of SFS managers.

You can perform any of these tasks if you are an SFS manager. It is also possible to perform these tasks if you are an SFS administrator but not an SFS manager; however, you cannot default any values in any management functions this way.

If you must perform any of these tasks but cannot, verify with your CA VM:Director system administrator that you have the correct authorizations, both for commands and for file pools.
