Reason:
You have attempted to change the device type of an existing volume using the CA VM:Director CONFIG DASD command. While you can change the logical name of the device type to what it may be defined as on a DEVTYPE record in the DASD CONFIG file, you cannot change the true underlying device type. You can either correct the error or ignore any changes you were making.
Action:
Select the appropriate response and continue. If you choose to correct the error, you must specify a device type name that resolves to the original true device type of the volume.
