AUTHORIZATION IS UNKNOWN OR HAS INVALID SYNTAX

Reason:

During CA VM:Director initialization or during execution of the CA VM:Director CONFIG AUTHORIZ command, CA VM:Director detected an authorization record (GRANT or WITHHOLD) that did not match the pattern of any known CA VM:Director authorization. This message is followed by message 0393I, which displays the record in error. The authorization record is permitted but ignored. Initialization continues, or the CA VM:Director CONFIG command completes normally.

Action:

If you see an error in the authorization displayed, issue the CA VM:Director CONFIG AUTHORIZ command and correct the error. If you are testing a new authorization, you can disregard the error. If you want to define new authorizations for a macro you have written, you need to put a dollar sign ($) in front of your macro name to suppress this message. For example:

GRANT $sitemacro TO userid
