Reason:
A directory manager has attempted to allocate space for a new minidisk and has specified the device type on which the space is to be allocated (for example, 3330). No EXTENT records were found in the DASD CONFIG file that are part of the subpool or subpool group and reside on a volume of the specified device type. Space is not allocated. The issuing macro displays the error message.
Action:
Correct the device type, if entered incorrectly. If the device type is correct, add the appropriate subpool name to existing EXTENT records in the DASD CONFIG file.
