CA VM:Backup displays one of two Select Guidelines sections based on the target you selected in the Restore Data to field:

Original Minidisk

Source DASD Volumes

Reader

Source DASD Volumes

Alternate Volume

Source/Target DASD Volumes for Alternate-Volume Restore

For all restore targets, CA VM:Backup restores all minidisks belonging to all user IDs on the specified DASD volumes by default. You can override this default and restrict the restoration sources by using the Restricted To field.
