Managing Authorizations

In CA VM:Backup, you can authorize certain user IDs to do the following actions:

• Perform the system administrator, operator, or end-user functions
• Receive disk mount requests, tape mount requests, or messages about system activity from CA VM:Backup

This chapter explains how to assign these authorizations through Option 2, Manage authorizations, on the System Administrator Main Menu.
