To indicate that a job should produce a keyword data report, do one of the following:
CA VM:Backup does not create a keyword data report for jobs that backup the CA VM:Backup service virtual machine even if a keyword data report is requested. CA VM:Backup cannot write to the report minidisk at the same time it is trying to back up the minidisk.
CA VM:Backup uses the detail level you select for the job detail report for the keyword data report. For example, when you select file-level detail for the job detail report, the keyword data report will have file-level detail as well.
CA VM:Backup allows one report for each job template file for each owner in the system at any one time. If a CA VM:Backup system administrator submits a job, the job owner is the generic name VMBACKUP. If CA VM:Archiver submits a job, the job owner is the user ID of the CA VM:Archiver service virtual machine.
Keyword data reports reside on the report minidisk. The owner of a job can obtain the job's keyword data report through the GETRPT command; CA VM:Backup moves the report to the minidisk or directory specified on the command.
Note: All CA VM:Archiver jobs specify REPORT KEYWORD YES.
