Restoring Files to an SFS Directory
To restore files to one of your SFS directories, follow these steps:
- If the files being restored were all backed up from the same directory, the fully-qualified directory name of that directory is displayed in the Name field on the Restore Files to Reader, Minidisk, or Directory screen; otherwise, this field is blank. Type the fully-qualified directory name (filepoolid:userid.directory) of the directory that you want to restore in the Name field. You can restore to any of your own directories. You can restore to only one directory in a single request.
- Answer the questions on the screen to tell CA VM:Backup how you want the files restored to your directory. See the following section, File Restore Options.
- Type 3 on the command line.
- Press ENTER to submit your request.
