Change a CA User Activity Reporting Module Server in Your Environment

The Rename_ELM.sh utility (utility) lets you change the hostname and IP address of an existing server in your environment without uninstalling and installing CA User Activity Reporting Module.

The following diagram describes how you can use the utility:

Follow these steps:

1. Review the limitations and considerations to use the utility.
2. Gather the inputs to run the utility.
3. Run the utility to change a server in the following environments:
   • Change a server in a standalone environment.
   • Change the parent server in a federation.
   • Change a child server in a federation.
   • Change the parent and child servers in a federation.
4. Confirm the changes in the server.
5. Perform the post configuration tasks.
