Configuration Management

The configuration management class covers actions which deal with the configuration activity such as configuration modify, configuration delete and others.

Policy Management

The policy management class covers actions which deal with the policy activities such as policy creation, policy activation, policy application, policy deactivation and policy deletion.

Backup Management

The Backup management class covers actions which deal with the backing of configuration data and actual data. This class will be mapped under Configuration Management Category for backup actions related to configuration data. This class will be mapped under Operations Security Category for backup actions related to actual data.

Profile Management

The profile management class covers actions which deal with the profile activities such as profile creation, profile deletion and profile modification. A profile is defined to group devices /components/actions/processes etc based on specific conditions and then policies/rules are applied based on profile instead of individual components.
