Prerequisites

Before you enable CA User Activity Reporting Module High Availability, verify that you have performed the following tasks in your virtual environment:

  1. Installed a minimum of two ESX 4.0 servers.
  2. Installed VMware vCenter 4.0 to manage the ESX servers.
  3. Configured a Network File System (NFS) as a VMware HA datastore.
  4. Created a CA User Activity Reporting Module server using a virtual machine or a virtual appliance on the ESX 4.0 servers.
  5. Mounted the CA User Activity Reporting Module server on the NFS partition.
