The Cryptographic Notification action deals with expressing information pertaining to notifications and messages generated from Cryptographic Operations or Cryptosystems in a specific host environment.

Any type of notification from the Cryptographic Operations or Cryptosystems can be mapped to this action if the event cannot be mapped to a more specific action. Use Cryptographic Status action if the event describes the status of Cryptographic Operations or Cryptosystems. If the action is related to thenetwork environment, map to the same event in the Network Security category.
