The Process Alert action expresses information about alerts generated by a process or service on a given system or application. A Process is a program that runs in the background like a UNIX daemon or Windows service. Any type of alert conditions related to the process can be mapped to this action. If this is an error condition and does not warrant immediate attention, then map to the Process Error action.
