Origination and Destination Information Tables
These tables provide information about the origination or destination endpoint An endpoint is any device where a media stream begins or ends, such as telephone, softphone, telepresence, voice gateway, media device, and video camera.:
- Endpoint name
- Phone number or SIP URI
- IP address, which can be a link to the endpoint web page.
- Port through which the data passed
- Network location
- Endpoint make, model, and type, such as IP phone, IP PBX, unified messaging server, mediation server, or Session Border Controller.
- User agent, which is based on the text in the User-Agent header field, and generally describes the firmware version and build number of the software on the endpoint.
- Call server
- Codec
- Firmware version
- Serial number
- Connection information
- For calls that involve endpoints in the PSTN:
- Voice gateway
- Interface and voice channel through which the data passed
Notes:
- Availability of this information depends on the type of endpoint, or how UC Monitor learned of the data.
- Origination and destination information is not available from medianet data.
- When a call server is unknown, the label <Unknown Call Server> is used.
