MCSSTOR Keyword—Message Queue Storage

Valid on z/OS.

Use the MCSSTOR keyword to specify the amount of storage, in megabytes, used for message queuing. The IBM equivalent to this field is STORAGE.

This keyword has the following format:

TSS ADDTO(acid) MCSSTOR(nnnn)

One keyword per ACID

Valid values

One to 2000.

MCS resources must be added to a User Record and cannot be added to a Profile or to the ALL Record.

This keyword is used with:

• The commands REPLACE, ADDTO, REMOVE, and WHOHAS
• The ACID types User, DCA, VCA, ZCA, LSCA, SCA, and MSCA
• MISC8(MCS) and ACID(MAINTAIN) authority
