Reason:
A resource class with a 2‑byte RESCODE has at some time been defined by a CA Top Secret r5.2 system on this security file. Even if the resource class has since been deleted, the changes invoked by this definition to the Security File are irrevocable.
Action:
You are allowed to create additional resource classes in the RDT with 2‑byte RESCODEs. However:
1. You cannot share this CA Top Secret Security file with a CA Top Secret 5.1 system.
2. The RDT2BYTE control option will remain activated, even after the option is removed from the Parameter File, and cannot be turned off with the MODIFY command.
The only way to reverse the activation of RDT2BYTE is to work from a BACKUP which does not have RDT2BYTE set; and to forward recover up to the point where RDT2BYTE had been set.
