PASSWORD PHRASE HAS EXPIRED. NEW PASSWORD PHRASE MISSING

Reason:

The current password phrase is no longer valid. A new password phrase must be entered to replace the current one.

Action:

User must supply current and new password phrases.

NEW PASSWORD CHANGE INVALID - reason

NEW PASSWORD PHRASE CHANGE INVALID - reason

Reason:

The password or password phrase change for the ACID is invalid. If the current password has expired, access to the facility is not allowed until you supply the correct combination of an ACID and password. Reasons are as follows:

At Least 1 Alphabetic Required

Indicates that the password must contain a alphabetic character

At Least 1 Numeric Required

Indicates that the password must contain a numeric character.

Cannot Be Changed Yet

Indicates that the password can be changed only after a set timeframe.

Does Not Conform to Mask

Indicates that an incorrect character type was specified in a masked position.

Encryption Error

Indicates that an internal error occurred while encrypting a password or password phrase.

Identical to Previous Password

Indicates that the password is identical to the current password (or a history password) and may not be used again.

Invalid Character

Indicates that the password contains unsupported characters.

Minimum Alpha Required

Indicates that the password does not contain the minimum required number of alphabetical characters.

Minimum Numeric Required

Indicates that the minimum number of numeric characters was not specified in the new password phrase.

Minimum Special Char Required

Indicates that the minimum required number of special characters was not met.

Must Have 1 Lowercase Char.

Indicates that the password must contain a lowercase character.

Must Have 1 Special Character

Indicates that the password must contain a character from the passchar list. This list contains valid characters for passwords.

Must Have 1 Uppercase Char.

Indicates that the password must contain an uppercase character.

Not Properly Split

Indicates that the password must contain a word that is split by a @,# ,or $ (for example, aaa@bbbb or abcd#ef).

Password/New Phrase Not Valid

Indicates that you cannot specify an old password and a new phrase.

Phrase/New Password Not Valid

Indicates that you cannot specify an old phrase and a new password.

Prior Batch Password Used

Indicates that the product is still honoring the expired password for a batch job (based on the HPBPW control option setting).

Random Password Not Supported

Indicates that the RN option of the NEWPW control option is not set for random password generation.

Rejected by Site Exit

Indicates that the password was failed by the password exit.

Restricted Word

Indicates that the password is restricted and cannot be used.

Reverification Failed

Indicates that password reverification was incorrect, meaning the second password entry did not match the first entry.

Too Many Characters

Indicates that the password contains too many characters.

Too Short

Indicates that the password has too few characters.

Too Similar to Old Password

Indicates that the password is too similar to the current password.

Too Similar to Userid

Indicates that the password is too similar to the user's ID.

Too Similar to Your Name

Indicates that the password is too similar to the user's name.

You Cannot Change Password

Indicates that the password cannot be changed by the user.

You Cannot Repeat Characters

Indicates that the password contains more than the acceptable amount of repeating characters.

You Cannot Use Vowels

Indicates that the password cannot not contain vowels.

You Must Use All Numerics

Indicates that the password must contain only numeric characters.

Action:

Make any adjustments and correct the new password or phrase if necessary. If the reason was Encryption Error, contact CA Support.
