Reason:
If ADDTO/REPLACE to RDT: The value entered for MAXLEN in ADD(RDT) must be in the range 1 to 255.
For RIE resource class, MAXLEN must be at least 1.
For PIE resource class, MAXLEN must be at least 2.
For further explanation of the RIE and PIE types of resource classes, see the User Guide.
The MAXLEN keyword cannot be used with REPLACE(RDT).
If ADDTO/REPLACE to FDT: The value entered for MAXLEN must be in the range 1 to 32767. The total of all MAXLENs dynamically added to the FDT must not exceed 32767.
If ADDTO/REPLACE to ACID: The user has attempted to add or replace the value for a field whose FDTNAME MAXLEN has been exceeded.
Action:
If ADDTO to RDT: Replace the value of MAXLEN with a valid value.
IF REPLACE to RDT: Reenter the command without the MAXLEN keyword.
If ADDTO/REPLACE to FDT: If the total of all dynamically defined FDTNAME entries has exceeded 32767, determine if all fields are still actively being used. Remove any unused field values from associated ACIDs. Then remove the associated FDTNAME from FDT. After removing unused fields from the FDT, reattempt the ADDTO or REPLACE command with the new FDTNAME entry. Otherwise, replace the value of MAXLEN with a valid value.
If ADDTO/REPLACE to ACID: Reattempt to add a smaller field which does not exceed the associated FDTNAME MAXLEN. If possible replace the MAXLEN parameter in the associated FDTNAME to accommodate the larger field requirements. Then reattempt to add a value for the field which does not exceed the new MAXLEN.
