CA Top Secret CICS Initialization Incomplete RSN=nn
Reason:
The CICS PLTPI program TSSCPLT found an initialization or environment error. Only the first error encountered is reported. The reason code (nn) indicates the specific problem and is explained below:
- 00—TSSCPLT could not find the z/OS CVT. There are serious errors with the z/OS control block structure.
- 01—TSSCPLT could not locate the SSCT anchor.
- 02—The SSCT entry for CA ACF2 is missing.
- 03—The ACEE for the region could not be located.
- 06—The root CA Top Secret CICS control block (KPGA) has an invalid header/eyecatch; it should start “KPGA.”
- 07—The version number in the KPGA is incorrect.
- 08—The “initialization in process” flag in the KPGA is still on, indicating the CA Top Secret CICS initialization failed to complete.
- 09—The region ACEE has an invalid header/eyecatch; it should start with “ACEE.”
- 10—The pointer to the ACEX in the region ACEE is null.
- 11—The pointer to the KPGA in the ACEX is null.
- 24—TSSCPLT was unable to find the ENF DCM for CA Top Secret CICS for the CICS release level being executed.
Action:
If the reason code is in the 00 to 11 range, contact CA Technical Support.
For reason code 24, follow the procedures in the CICS Support Guide for adding the CA Top Secret CICS DCM to the ENF database, then restart the CICS region.
