How to Configure Without CA CSM

The topics in this section describe the manual tasks you perform if you are not configuring your product using CA CSM.

You must perform the following configuration tasks manually, regardless of whether you are using CA CSM to perform product configuration:

• Assign your key to the library.
• Authorize the product libraries.
• Authorize TSS commands.
• Set up SAF SECTRACE.
• Install ENF DCM.
• Customize the started task procedure.
• Update the TSSB backup started task.
• Edit commands to initiate and follow CA Top Secret.
• Create the parameter file.
• Upgrade the existing security file or create a new file.
• Create a backup security file.
• Create a recovery file.
• Create an audit/tracking file and an alternate audit/tracking file.
• Create a CPF recovery file.
• Create the RCACHE VSAM cluster.
• Define the security console.
• Set up backup, restore, and recovery procedures.
• Modify your ISPF main menu.
• Set up installation exits.
• Customize your facility security.
• Initialize CA Top Secret as a subsystem.
