Use the RESNAME keyword to define a Data Classification resource entity. This keyword is part the DATACLAS tracking record that helps determine which data (files, data sets, resources) pertains to which regulation. This record resides in the VSAM file.
The name can contain letters, numbers, or special characters. To specify that the RESNAME is a prefix, append an asterisk (*). No other masking is supported. Any other use of masking characters will be treated as literals.
