MQCMDS Resource Class—Secure MQM Commands

Use MQCMDS to secure MQSERIES (MQM) commands.

When used with TSS ADDTO/REMOVE, this resource class has the following format:

TSS ADDTO(acid) MQCMDS(csq1.)
Prefix length

Two to twenty‑six characters

Capacity of list

One to five MQM resources or prefixes per TSS command

When used with TSS PERMIT/REVOKE, this resource class has the following format:

TSS PERMIT(acid) MQCMDS(csq1.)
                 ACCESS(ALL)
Prefix length

Two to twenty-two characters per prefix

Full name

Two to twenty-two characters

Capacity of list

One to five resources or prefixes per TSS command

This example gives the Payroll Department (PAYDEPT) ownership of the MQCMDS resources:

This example removes ownership of the MQCMDS resources:

TSS REMOVE(MQQ) MQCMDS(CSQ1.)

This example authorizes USRMARE to all MQCMDS resources:

TSS PERMIT(USRMARE) MQCMDS(CSQ1.*) ACCESS(ALL)

This example revokes USRMARE's authority to MQCMDS resources:
