NOPWCHG Keyword—Prevent Password Changes

Valid on z/OS and z/VM.

Use the NOPWCHG keyword to prevent ACIDs from changing passwords at signon or initiation.

This keyword has the following format:

TSS ADDTO(acid) NOPWCHG

This keyword is used with:

• The commands CREATE, ADDTO, and REMOVE
• The ACID types User, Profile, DCA, VCA, ZCA, LSCA, SCA, and MSCA
• ACID(CREATE) authority
• Administrators who does not have ACID(CREATE) authority can add NOPWCHG to users within their scope if given UPDATE access to entity TSSCMD.USER.ADDTO.NOPWCHG in the CASECAUT resource class
• Administrators who do not have ACID(CREATE) authority can remove NOPWCHG from users within their scope if given UPDATE access to entity TSSCMD.USER.REMOVE.NOPWCHG in the CASECAUT resource class
