SYMXKEYS Keyword—Symmetric PKDS Labels

Valid on z/OS.

Use the SYMXKEYS keyword to specify one or more PKDS labels of public keys which you may use to export the symmetric keys protected by this profile. The public keys must reside in the ICSF PKA data set (PKDS).

This keyword has the following format:

TSS PER(acid) CSFKEYS(resource) SYMXKEYS(label1,label2,…label12)

You may specify up to 12 certificate labels. Each label may be a maximum of 64 characters. An asterisk (*) specifies any public key in the ICSDF PKDS can be used.

This keyword is used with the following:

• The PERMIT command
• The ACID types User, DCA, VCA, ZCA, LSCA, and SCA
• CSFKEYS and XCSFKEY resource classes only
• Resource(XAUTH) authority to specify ACTION for resources that are owned within their scope

This example allows you specify one or more PKDS labels which may be used to export the symmetric key with the NJDEPT1 ACID:
