What You Need

To start an Operator session and issue operator commands, you must have the following on your system:

• A session with a session ID of TPXOPER
• Authorization to issue Operator commands

Your User Administrator can add a TPXOPER session to your menu, and your Operator Administrator can assign you operator authority.

If you meet these prerequisites, you can issue the operator commands from a terminal. Most of the commands can also be issued from a system operator's terminal. However, the format of the display on a system operator's terminal is different than that shown in the examples in this guide.
