Example 1: Modifying a User Value

An administrator wants to change the values for a user's menu key and stage 1 time out. The administrator includes the following control statement in a batch job:

UPDATE USER (USER50(UIDXMKEY(PA3) UIDXTOU1(60)))

This statement assigns the following values:

• PA3 for the menu key
• 60 for the stage 1 time out
