Control Statement Specification

The control statement provides the following information:

• Indicates if the volume is under CA TLMS control
• Specifies the volume serial numbers for initialization
• Describes the status of the volume in the VMF

The control statements are free-form and can span to as many statements as required but cannot exceed position 71. Comments in the form /*xxxxxxx*/ can appear in the control statements.
