Registering Microsoft Exchange Servers
To register Microsoft Exchange servers with CA SRM, follow these steps:
- Do one of the following:
- If you are using Microsoft Exchange 2000, add your account to the Exchange Services or Exchange Domain Servers group.
- Grant your account full explicit permissions to specific STORES, including Receive As and Send As permissions.
- Register the domain on which the Microsoft Exchange server is installed using the CA SRM Computer Registration Wizard. For more information, see the chapter “Managing Network Storage Objects.”
- Register the Microsoft Exchange server using the CA SRM Exchange Registration Wizard. For more information, see Using the CA SRM Exchange Registration Wizard in this chapter.
