Utilities

Utilities are provided to help you and are designed to perform or facilitate certain operations or configure the system. Most of the utilities can be accessed by clicking Start, Programs, CA, CA Storage Resource Manager, and then Utilities. Some of the utilities can also be accessed from the menu bar, for example the z/OS Host Configuration Client can be launched from the z/OS menu option.

How to use the utilities is further explained in the Windows Client on-line Help system. Click Help in the menu bar and under contents click Utilities. There you will find the list of utilities. Click the title of the utility you want to learn more about. Utilities used only by CA SRM are also described in the CA SRM User Guide.

Users that have installed the Windows Client for CA SRM and CA Vantage SRM have the following utilities:
