Default Groups and Nodes
You can define a default group or node. Defaults are used for:
- Ordinary users are limited to their default group or node, when they are using the menu system without specifying a group or node.
- If they do not need to access other resources, they do not have to use the RG and RN functions of the menu system. This means that ordinary users do not have to be aware of the group concept in CA Spool.
- When a user writes a file with a shared printer as the destination, the user's defaults are used to determine to which shared printer the file is to be queued.
