PPURGE

Syntax

PPURGE= YES | NO

Description

If a file is explicitly purged, this parameter specifies whether a file's spool blocks on the spool data sets must be physically overwritten with binary ones.

Note: If PPURGE=YES and a file is explicitly purged, either by a purge file command, or because it has been printed on a printer defined with PURGE=YES, or the file's retain time is –1, the file is overwritten. The default value is NO.
