To allow the use of the same configuration for all members in an EMAS complex (cloning), automatic System Symbol substitution is supported for the following selected System-defined static System Symbols:
The 1- to 2- character ID of the system.
The 1- to 8- character name of the system
The name of the sysplex
SMF specified system ID
For example, on a system with &SYSCLONE=12 the initialization statement 'NJE JES2,APPL=A&SYSCLONE.JES2' is automatically translated to 'NJE JES2,APPL=A12JES2' before processing.
Note: System Symbol Substitution is not supported in the LPDSERV, LPDDEST and LPDFILE statements.
